The Service aggregates only news articles published within the last 7 days to ensure the relevance and timeliness of the content provided. News older than 7 days is not included in the aggregation.
The Service is designed to refresh news content every 10 minutes. However, the actual refresh time may vary by a few minutes due to various factors, including but not limited to network conditions and device performance. Additionally, the automatic refresh feature may be interrupted or disabled based on the settings of the device on which the Service is installed. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that their device settings allow for the automatic refresh to function properly. The automatic refresh can also be delayed by the phone, to save the battery, which is not the responsability of the Service.
Transparency on the use of Artificial Intelligence: In accordance with applicable regulations, including the European Regulation on Artificial Intelligence (EU AI Act), we transparently declare that certain textual elements within the Application — specifically macro summaries of news and translated or rephrased headlines — are generated by artificial intelligence. These texts are based on public metadata from third-party publishers and are not written, verified or validated by human journalists.
The Service utilizes artificial intelligence to generate brief summaries of news content. These AI summaries are generated exclusively from the news article titles discovered and collected by the Application. No other content from the original articles or third-party sources is scraped, accessed, or analyzed during this process.
QuickFeed instructs the underlying third-party AI system to include citations of the original news sources in all summaries. However, due to the generative nature of artificial intelligence, the results may vary between uses. QuickFeed assumes no liability or responsibility for the accuracy, consistency, or exact output of these AI-generated summaries.
The translation feature is an accessibility tool provided as-is, triggered solely at the user's initiative for their personal convenience. The application is not affiliated with the original publishers.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of translated content complies with applicable copyright laws in your jurisdiction.
The premium subscription is a paid option that unlocks advanced features of the Service. It is managed exclusively through the Google Play Billing System and is subject to the Google Play Terms of Service available here.
Payments are processed by Google Play. The subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it through your Google Play account before the renewal date. We reserve the right to change the subscription fees, with at least 7 days' notice provided via the application.
In accordance with our conditions of sale, no refunds are granted for Premium Subscription purchases. All sales are final except as expressly provided by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service for any violation of these Terms.
